Terms and conditions

Last updated 11 October 2026

These terms cover two things: using this website, and working with Applied Astra. By using the site or booking a call you agree to them.

1. Who we are

Applied Astra is a brand of Space Astra AI, based in the United States ("we", "us"). Contact: support@appliedastra.com.

2. This website

The site describes our services and publishes Playbooks. It is general information, not professional advice for your situation. We try to keep it accurate but do not promise it is complete or current. You may read and share it. You may not copy it wholesale, misrepresent it as your own, or use it to attack or disrupt the site.

3. Playbooks

4. Booking a call

Calls are booked through our booking page. A booking deposit of USD 100 is taken when you book. If you decide not to go ahead after the call, the deposit is refunded in full, less the payment provider's standard processing fee. To ask for a refund, email support@appliedastra.com.

5. Engagements

6. Ownership

Once the engagement is paid in full, you own what was built for you under the scope. We keep our pre-existing tools, methods and know-how, and may reuse general techniques that contain none of your confidential information. Open-source and third-party components stay under their own licences.

7. Confidentiality and data

Each side keeps the other's non-public information confidential and uses it only for the engagement. Your data is used only for your project. Our privacy policy explains how personal data is handled.

8. About AI systems

AI systems can produce wrong or inconsistent output. We define and verify the outcome in the scope, and we tell you what was not tested. We do not promise business results beyond the agreed outcome, and you remain responsible for how the system is used and for reviewing its output where the stakes require it.

9. Ending an engagement

Either side may end an engagement in writing if the other materially breaches the scope and does not fix it within 14 days of being told. Work completed up to that point is paid for, and the scope sets out what happens to the upfront payment.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, neither side is liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profit or lost data, and our total liability for an engagement is limited to the fees you paid for it. The site and the Playbooks are provided without warranties of any kind.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which Space Astra AI is established, and the courts of that state have jurisdiction.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. The version posted here applies to site use from its date. An engagement stays under the terms and scope in force when it was approved.
